This Privacy Policy describes how Sizzlesteam (“Sizzlesteam,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and handles personal information in connection with the Sizzlesteam website and services.

“Patreon” means Patreon and its services through which users may maintain memberships associated with Sizzlesteam.

“Member” means a person whose Patreon account or membership is connected to the Service.

“Member Data” means personal information received from Patreon in connection with a Member and that Member’s Patreon account or membership.

“Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be associated with an individual.

2. Information We Collect

Information Received From Patreon

When you connect to the Service through Patreon, we may receive information from Patreon about you and your membership, including:

  • your Patreon name;
  • your email address;
  • your Patreon account and membership identifiers;
  • your membership status and level;
  • your current membership amount; and
  • whether your membership is a free trial or gift.

We do not receive your payment-card information or home address from Patreon.

3. How We Use Information

We use information received from Patreon to operate the Service, identify Members, determine membership status and benefits, provide access to membership-related features or content, maintain the membership relationship, and provide customer support.

We may retain limited membership information where reasonably necessary to recognize returning Members or administer membership-related benefits.

4. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose personal information to service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the Service, or when disclosure is required by law.

5. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.

Personal information stored in the Sizzlesteam database is encrypted at rest.

6. Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it is maintained, including providing and administering the Service and membership-related benefits.

Deletion of Patreon Member Data

Patreon maintains a Creator Privacy Promise governing creators’ handling of Member Data.

In accordance with the Creator Privacy Promise, Sizzlesteam:

  1. encrypts personal information stored in its database; and
  2. will delete personal information received from Patreon at a Member’s request.

A Member may request deletion of information received from Patreon by sending Sizzlesteam a message through Patreon requesting deletion of their Patreon Member Data.

Cancellation or expiration of a Patreon membership does not by itself constitute a request to delete Member Data.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service uses Patreon as a third-party membership and authentication service. Patreon’s collection and handling of information through its own services is governed by Patreon’s own terms and privacy policies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updated version will be posted on the Service with a revised effective date.
